The Master's Touch Chorale
Prayer Ministry
From the very first meeting of The Master’s Touch Chorale in May of 1993, the membership has been deeply aware of the importance of prayer in the success of our ministry. We are exhorted by Scripture to "pray without ceasing" (I Thessalonians 5:17) and to "pray in the Spirit on all occasions, with all kinds of prayers and requests…and always keep on praying for all the saints" (Ephesians 6:18). And we are encouraged to pray together by our Lord Jesus Christ, who said, "…If two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything they shall ask, it shall be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them." (Matthew 18: 19-20)
Therefore, before every concert and at the close of every rehearsal, including separate MANNA rehearsals, our members spend a significant time in intercessory prayer for each other, for our ministry, for many outside our group as requests come to us, for our nation and its leaders, for our churches, and for the spread of the Gospel of Christ in the whole world. We also spend time praising our God for His love and grace, and for His faithful answering of our prayers. And from that first meeting until the present day, we give ourselves to Him anew at the beginning of each concert and at the closing of each rehearsal prayer time in the singing together of our signature anthem, Praise You, which we sing from our hearts to our Abba Father.
Prayer cards are available at each concert for those who would like The Master’s Touch Chorale to pray for them. A team of prayer warriors from the Chorale will be meeting before every rehearsal to bring these needs or praises before the Lord.
We also covet the prayers of our audiences and other interested Christians that we always remain in the center of the Lord’s will in all aspects of our ministry, and also for the Holy Spirit to constantly minister through us, for it is "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord." (Zechariah 4: 6)
